Ok so here's the deal, I am doing an sr swap, blah blah, and I was planning on using my ka transmission w/ an sr bellhousing. Well my ka transmission worked great before, I did the sr bellhousing swap, and everything went fine. When I got the transmission back together, I put the shifter on to see if it would go into gears fine, but it wouldn't go into any gears, but the input shaft will still spin like it's in neutral? It's driving me insane, what could be the problem?

sorry for the crappy quality cell phone is all I had on me at the time.

I just ran across your post. have you gotten your problem figured out yet. if not then here is what you do. loosen the bolts at the mid plate for the 2 halves of the transmission. then look in the bell housing, you will see 3 guide rods to the left of the input shaft ( if you are facing the bell housing) Make sure all 3 guide rods are coming through the guide holes in the bell housing. if one of then looks to be recessed in a little and is not flush with the others. then that one is the problem.. with the bolts loosened at the mid plate and working the shifter slowly you should be able to get the guide rod to come through.. i did a SR/ka transmission swap and my bottum rod got hung up and caused the trans to not shift just like yours is doing in the video. but once yo have them free tighten the bolts at the mid plate back up and try shifting through the gears. watch the 3 rods in the bell housing as you go throught the gear. they should all 3 move at various points when shifting through all your gears. good luck
