PLEASE HELP.... transmission is shot??

o.k after months of beating my 240 the auto transmission is doin some wierd s*** i think it might be the tork converter.... because it slips but keeps movin.. but i have heard that sawdust in your transmission will stop it from slippin anyone know bout this???

sawdust in your transmission!? Thats stupid, all that would do is clog the trans filter and burn it up.

wow... I saw a show on tv a long time ago where someone put sawdust in a transmission.... all I can remember about the show was the main character was a cop, but he wasn't very bright. he only had 1 bullet, and he had to keep it in his shirt pocket...

most likely you're in need of a rebuild. Talk to 95silviase, he has an auto transmission for sale for $100. Great deal and he's a real nice guy.
