Please Help!

Here's my problem. I'm looking to buy a 240sx with a sr20det in it. The problem is i dont now were to look and whether or not I should buy one without it already and buy a front clip then have installed or buy one with the sr20det in it. What makes this tricky is that i have a 8k budget. I am only 17 and want know as much as possible so if you suggestions of any kind I am open to them. Thank You

why dont you buy a nice 240sx and drop the engine in that?because you dont know how hard they ragged on it or they are selling it because something is messed up with the engine
