please help

i have a 97 240sx with a ka24de-t engine and the car seems to cut out or bog so bad when i hit boost it wont revor boost any higher! i scanned it with an obd2 scanner and got a p0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected.

could you explaine what this means and maybee a posible cuase and cure.

any help would be great cuz im not going to drive it until its running fine and thats torture!

It means #2 cyl is missfiring. possible causes are spark plug, spark plug wire, or the injector.

could this also be a bad cap or rotor becuase ive recently put new plugs and wires on it. about 2 weeks ago

did you wash your engine recently?? you may have water down in the spark plug well. It could be the cap and rotor but if it were you would likely get a multi cyl missfire code P0300

so you would recomend i cahange the plugs wires and add fuel injector cleaner?

no i suggest you check for water or oil in the spark plug well. If that checks ok pull the plug and inspect it. if it looks ok break out the ohm meter and check your resistance on your plug wire. if it checks ok check the resistance of the injector. You could just slap parts on it if you find that easier. But the injector might cost ya. I really dont think cleaner would resolve a problem severe enough to throw a code.
