hey guy's i need some serious help i just had my motor rebuilt and broke it in, have over 700 miles on it, still taking it alittle easy but last night i decided to play around alittle, and drove her alittle hard and did some spirited driving, she purred like a kitten. well today i go to start it up, turn the key cranks first time, let it warm up start driving off my street and it starts acting up, it'll idle fine but wont go, get it back to my house and check everything over, whiel i'm looking at the super afc i realize that over about 20% throttle it just boggs, let off and it'll idle fine, i've checked everything all day i cant figure it out, please help me i'm to the point wehre i cant think about it logically anymore, please help

check intake pipes and make sure your MAF is plugged up even try unplugging it and see if it changes...if not then your MAF is bad

i checked for codes tonight, forget what # it threw i think it was 34 but it said that the detonation sensor circuit was either open or blown, well i unhooked the knock sensor and all taht **** and it didn't change a thing, when i first got it running i accidently didn't have it hooked up for like 2 weeks so i know it'll run w/out it, but i have littlerally been working on it all day and cant seem to figure it out, the maf is fine i'm running a Z32 and the voltage is good and is set correctly on the super afc, i just dont know what else it could be, i've exhausted my brain over this, anyone else have any idea's

make sure your turbo is tightend down. also code 34 means that the circuit on the det sensor is broken either not wired up or bad sensor.

i took a break from things yesterday but i'm back at it this morning, i replaced the whole lower harness today just to be safe because i did some wireing on the otehr one, went over everything, made 100% sure it wasn't the super afc or anything, when you talk about the "det" sensor your refering to the knock sensor right, bt like i said before, i ran for like 2 weeks w/out it plugged up by accident and it ran fine, and one of my friends w/ a KA-T say's his always has red the code for teh det sensor, so i'm almost positive it isn't that, i dont get it but its almost exactly at 20% throttle when it starts to bog, if you keep it uner 20% it'll rev fine, could taht possibly be the TPS sensor or something, how do i check that to see if it is bad please voice your idea's i'm at a loss here, what else could it be, thanks alot

Or your TPS connection is wrong on your SAFC and possibly burned-up something? When dealing with super AFCs and this motor, my help becomes very limited.

Check the resistance on the TPS. It should read about 1K @ full close and about 9K @ full open. Mine is messed up right now and only reads to 8K, and is causing me some minor problems. If you've got broadband, we can get on yahoo/AIM and I can send you the CA FSM. Lemme know.

Just Some input, my ca was doing the same thing at about 20% throttle. I was using the stock ka24e maf housing with the ca maf sensor. and the stock housing was a little bit bigger that the ca housing. It was throwing the reading way off. It ran like ****. until I fixed that. Your problem may be different but I notice you was using the Z32 maf. And if its not set up for that exactly right then it maybe causing some problems.
