Hey i just got my 240sx and it's a 1998 se stock automatic with a ka24det. i really like drifting and i've been doing it in my friends Mazda for awhile but i've always liked Nissans. but i have no idea what to do to it for tuning.

what Parts should i get?

i'm already looking at getting a SR20det but past that i am clueless

Probally just means a KA24DE. First you need to learn how to drive it, autos prob wont be the greatest for drifting but please god learn the car before you go all drifto and wreck it. First i would get some suspension, (Coils, sway bars, traction, ETC. )

hey theer, ill help an irishman, ok the first thing your going to want to do with your car is save money for it. you'll have to change it over to manual transmission because that automatic just isnt going to cut it, you have to be able to choose your gear.
then youll want to get an limited slip differential if the car doesnt have one already. swap out one from another nissan thats compatible or buy one or if you can weld then weld it up. i dont recommend that unless you know what your doing.
then once you feel comfortable driving it like that, pick up some coilovers and the accompanying bits.
but then youll probably need a better clutch.
once thats done and you are familiar with it all, move onto more engine power.

First step is weld your diff, second is 5-speed swap, third is pump rear tires to 70psi. Then your ready to drift.

Learn on a stock motor with stock suspension. They are very capable to drift well in, it will build you up as a better driver in the end.

Then get coilovers, a seat, and a turbo/swap

Depends on how good you are at scrounging. It could cost anywhere from 100 to 500 bux depending on how many new parts you buy and where you source your parts from.

is the SR20DET OEM or JEM? if it's japanese then i might do a full conversion but then part for repair would be ridiculous to get
