So i bought a 91 hatch shell threw a ka24de in it discovered that the engine harness was hacked to hell, got everything wired up. SO here is where i stand. I took my car for a ride on some back roads and it ran like crap at first then started running a little better, went to take it home and it acted like it was running out of gas, wich it may have been(when i got home i put gas in it). I painted my car and went to take it for another ride around and it wont stay running for long at all. I give it some gas to try and keep it idling but it just bogs hard then picks back up i can keep it running like this for about a minute then it totally ignores that im trying to give it gas and just sputters out. I have no idea what it could be possibly harness problems idk if anyone can help it would be much appreciated but please dont use acronyms for stuff because i dont know what all that stuff is..... all and any help is appreciated :gotme

hold the hose that comes from the fuel filter with your fingers tightly and have someone turn the key so the accesories come on. you should feel the hose have a lot more pressure in it. thats your fuel pump working. i would check your spark plugs and maybe reset your ignition timing.
