I just recently installed a new header and downpipe on my 08 spec-v. Drove fine for about two days until today. While I was driving I lost almost all power and could not rev the engine higher than about 1500 rpm no matter what gear I was in. I also at one point (very briefly) lost power steering. I could switch to 2nd and 3rd and each time I got going a little faster. Top speed eventually got to about 22 mph. When I was in neutral however, I could rev the engine all the way to redline if I wanted to. Any ideas on whats wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The check engine light is not on and no codes are being thrown as well

What all needed to be removed in order to install the header? MAF or anything of that nature.

Sounds like you're in safe mode. Go over everything you disconnected when you installed the header and make sure it's back to normal.

OOPS! Yeah I forgot to re-connect the main power cord that leads from the alternator to the battery, so I actually drove around for a day and half on just the battery. After I reconnected it everything ran fine. Thanks for the responses guys....Im so glad that it was as simple as that and I didnt actually break anything.
