Hey guys im currently changing the Locks on my doors! they are off i already put the old one in the handle but my problem is that it wont hold on there, there is a little metal string that goes around and inside the handle that holds it. anything else i can do other than get that!

maybe this helps the best example i could find! looks like the little round string of metal that hold the lock from falling back from the handle please dont kill me =/

well I think a body guy would be more suited for this question but my guess would be just what you said. what was reason for replacement?

So you're swapping out the cylinders into your previous door handles?
