i need to know what the red and white striped, and the red and blue striped wire that stick out of the top of the ignition its about 2 inches long and it goes to a connector that have a red and black wire. i think its for the steering wheel lock. and i need to know how to bypass them if possible, or is it a power wire? do i have to supply power to the wire? my ignition is frozen up. i unscrewed the switch from behind so i can start my car but the wheel is locked. now its sitting in my friends apartment complex in a 48hr parking spot next to the local police department. i dont want to get it towed!!!

yr and model car usually gets a response. However your steering lock is mechanical meaning you would need to remove the entire ignition lock assembly to release it. A hammer a punch and a good hour is the easiest way to remove it.
