ok heres the problem i just got done rebuilding the engine from the block up and when we went to presurize the radiator and if u listen in the head were the timing chain is u can hear it leaking. So what i am asking could it be the timing chain coveror could it be something else and its on a 89 240sx sohc

The chain has been known to eat into the timing cover when the guide breaks on those.

really because the passenger side guide did break but the metal piece was still there and i cleaned the cover and i did not see anything

Pull the valve cover off and pressure test the system with a cooling system pressure tester. look for coolant to be spraying out of the cover near the water pump area inside.

thats what we did and know were you can pretty much look down into the oil pan it sounds like its coming from there

Are you getting coolant in the oil?

thats y i rebiult the top end the head gasket was blown but we were almost done we presurized the radiator to make sure we fixed it and it leaked in the timing cover somewere
