Sorry, I was in a hurry and wasn't very helpful.
gniknave was having similar idle/stalling trouble and recently discovered that if the transmission fluid is low, it can cause a problem - the torque converter can lock up and cause the car to stall when decelerating. Check the fluid level and top it off, if necessary.

Problems with the MAF (mass air flow sensor) and its connector also cause similar symptoms. Here's a good article with pictures and instructions for cleaning the MAF
