please help rb20det cuttin out

hi ive got a rb20det cefiro with fmic,walbro225,rb25 turbo,and chipped ecu it runs and idles mint but when torqing it through 2nd gear it hits about 7000rpm then just cuts out the engine doesnt die but the revs drop does the same in 3rd but doesnt do it in 1st i can smash it of the limiter sweet any help would be great

My first guess would be spark plug gap.

ok thats worth checkin im runnin 13psi an im pretty sure the gaps(ngk iridiums) set at .8

I was running less gap than that, but I was also running 17.5 psi. I think I was at .6

You may also want to make sure you have a big a** ground wire from the block to the negative battery terminal. Adding one solved a few of my issues.

My major cutting out issue was corroded MAFs wires. If my MAF wasn't in the exact right position, it would cut out under full throttle above 4k.

yea my car started 2 develop miss which ive know found big crack down back of ss exhaust manifold which is leakin quite badly

yea ive put my standard mani back on and re gapped plugs to .8 a know ive got a miss that starts at 6000rpm its a little miss like its breakin down

Do you still have the stock boost solenoid?Maybe that could be triggering fuel cut?????Or does your rom tune take care of Boost/Fuel Cut?

Or maybe your MAF is maxing out????How much HP are you making?SEARCH Z32 HP or something. There is a chart as to what level each MAF will take you.
