Please Help, purchasing a 2011 M56x, concerned about timing chain

Hello all,

I Work in Mercedes Benz car sales, and we took in a 2011 M56x with 107k km not miles, I can get it for a great price, I drove the car feels very tight and nice, I am only heard wheel bearing noise when I drove it.

I have seen and heard people on forums complain about timing chains, can someone help explain is this a recalled item? Anything I should check before I go ahead for it.

It has every option, but no sport.

Yes, there is a recall on the M56 timing chains. Loaner will be furnished while the work is being done.

Infiniti recalled all Qx56 and M56 cars to replace the timing chain. From what I've read it is a precautionary measure. If it drives great now it will be just as great and maybe better after the work. I wouldn't let this be a reason preventing you from buying it.
