i am in the process of having my CA fully rebuilt, i took the block to a local shop to get hot tanked, i went to pick up the block and brought it home and later brought it to the guy who is building my motor who is a nissan mastertech, well the guy calls me today saying that my oil squirters are missing. he took the block apart and they were there and i remember seeing them, we both contacted the shop that hot tanked the motor and they say that when i picked up teh block they have me a little baggy that had the oil squirters inside, i swear up and down i never got a bag w/ anything, if i did i would have remembered what the oil squirters looked like outside of the motor and i dont, anway my motor cant go back together untill i have the oil squirters installed, the guy that is rebulding the motor has been in contact with nissan and they can not cross reference any other oil squirter that would work, does any one have a parts CA or any acsess to any oil squirters, i really need them asap, my motor is ready to be put back together, only thing that is missing are the squirters, if any of you do, please call me asap at 704-236-2340 my name is nate, or e-mail me at [email protected], please help out

Go get some out of a KA24DE or ask someone with an old motor to assist you.

I've use the 300zx ones before! I think the KA24DE squirters sport the same bolt size.

ok, just want to clarify, if the machine shop does not come up w/ them tomorrow i think i'm just goin to buy 1 oil squirter and see if it fits, should i buy a 300zx one, if so z31 or z32, or buy a KA24de one, thanks

and just to clarify i am talking about the oil jets (as so they are called in teh fsm) that are located at the bottom of the piston and look like a bent tube that squirts oil at the bottom of the piston

thanks alot

I know exactly what you're talking about man. Do not order the 300zx one as they needed to be modified in order to fit my motor. Ask someone to cough up the KA24 pieces as I'm pretty sure these will work.

It had a self-locking tab that prevent the oil squrter from rotating when you start tightening it. Other than that, you can use them. I just remove the tabs by cutting the majority and shaving it down flat and tighten them down. I think the KAs will work, though.

FWIW The KA24DE is not part # identical to the Z32 or anything else; neither is the CA18DET (at least european version, and its not likely that would differ from JDM).

However it would make sense they only used one tap size for them on most/all models, so if it worked for boost_boy I'm sure it'd work regardless of Z32 or KA24DE...

Hi, I got only one ca18det oil squirter from the damaged engine that I have stripped, the other 3 were damaged. You are welcome to have it if one is any good to you.
