My fuel pump went out, so I replaced the pump and control unit. Now the car starts and idles great while in park, but as soon as I put it in drive and try to take off nothings happens. I can coast fine, but am not able to accelerate at all. Car starts to seize a bit. If I barely put my foot on the gas eventually the car starts to accelerate, but takes a long time to get up to speed. What could it be and what should I do?

:welcome: to NICO!

Did you use a new OEM fuel pump? Is the FPCU confirmed working?

If not, what did you use?

possible middle speed range control of fpcu is bad. Try temporarily Grounding the fpcu connector to bypass it and see if problem disappears

Heath,

yes I did. First I changed the fuel pump, that is when the problem started. So then I changed FPCU and still same problem. Over the weekend I changed the MAF sensor and still the same issue. So now what do you think it could be or may I have installed something wrong.
Thanks,
Jeff
