about 3 months ago i decided to do a auto to manual swap on my 93 240sx with abs, i didnt have much time so my mother suggested a shop not far from the house, well i havent seen my car since and would like to see it soon, so anyones help is apperciated!!! IF ANYONE HAS THE HOW TO DO THE SWAP INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE ONCE ON 240SX.ORG AND CAN EMAIL THEM TO ME, I THINK THEY WOULD BE MY NEW FAVORITE PERSON! i got them once before and the mechanic told me that he didnt need them and tossed them now he wants them again!

1. does anyone know or have a diagram to the wiring/ wire colors on a 93 240 and what all wires do we need to connect make everything work (have a wiring harness that fits the manual trans.)

2. I have the auto ecu from the 93 and the mechanic ordered one that has the number "10" on it out of a 1990 240, is this out of the single cam or will it work in my car? (i have the ka-24de)

3. where the shifter fit in to the transmission the mechanic keeps talking about a missing "half moon shaped peice" that holds the short shifter down in place...what is he talking about and where do i get one?

thank you anyone who responds

I don't remember a half moon shaped piece going anywhere near my shifter - there was a really big "washer" deal that secured the rubber boot down but no half moon that I know of.

Ive been working on it the past few days since the guy whos doing it seemed to have no idea what the !@#$ was going on....and heres where we stand..... everything is hooked up (thanks to the s-13 instructions) and the "half moon shaped peice" was actually a set screw that hold the shifter under the top bracket on the transmission... this of course was a part that you have to get from a junked 240 or nissan dealership, where it is 29 bucks. Looks like we got it all figured out for now thanks for all your help.
