Hey guys, update on the saga of my SR, we pulled out the blown motor, and swapped everything, and then put the engine in Saturday. We finished everything up this morning and then we tried to start it. When we tried to start it, all we heard was the starter making a rapid clicking noise.

So then we push started the car, and it would not boost what so ever. So I think we screwed up the vacuum lines somewhere, but what vacuum lines do we hook the boost controller, wastegate and gauge up to? Anybody have a pic of what it should look like? Also any idea about the starter? Thanks Chris

if you are looking at the throttle body.

big outlet on right goes to BOV, little outlet on left goes to FPR and is tee'd off with boost gauge. little outlet underneath the throttle body goes to the carbon canister. wastegate gets its signal from the charge piping somewhere. that signal will go to the boost controller motor and then out to the wastegate if you have a boost controller.

Thats all it is for vaccum.

Thanks again, I'll wire the vacuum today, and then we're gonna go get the starters checked. Chris

The battery sounds like it is just dead. Or you may have a dirty or loose connection in one of the cables

Yeah we have a volt meter on it and the most we were ever pushing was about 12 volts, and when I went to Autozone today (they tested the starter for me) it was using 14 most of the time, so obviously it's not getting enough power at all, so we're going to relocate the battery to the trunk and get a better, more powerful battery (cause we're running on a motorcycle battery right now and it just ain't cuttin it) Thanks for everything guys
