Really wanna get my RB25det on the street but something is totally not right. I've got two ecu's that used to both work, but would make the car run rich. Now the original one that came with the motor wont start the car, so it must have gotten fried. Also the new ecu makes the fuel pump run for about 5-6 sec. when you first turn the key on. The original ecu would make it run 1-2 sec. Also for some reason the new ecu will not let the alternator put out, but the original one used to before it took a **** on me.

PLEASE HELP ME GET MY CAR ON THE ROAD!!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your ECU has nothing to do with your alternator.

That help?

actually that makes the situation more confusing, because when i use one ecu the alternator puts out and when i use the other ecu it doesn't.... coincidence? I'm not sure... what can make my alternator not put out other than it being bad? ( I have tested the alternator on another car and works fine) Fuse is good also.

Pretty straightforward man, get your meter out and start testing. Are you using stock lower harness?

Realistically, I really can't tell you squat without the car in front of me.

You have a ground from alternator to chassis? Main power connected to the positive lug? Say the fuse is good, but is there power at the fuse socket etc? I don't know if there are any fuseable links.

Your M63 harness plugged in completely?
