Okay I'm stuck at basically what to take off after my intake. I know the clutch fan shroud is blocking me and the clutch fan. I tried looking around as to how to take the shroud off but don't see how I can do that. Also is removing the clutch fan a matter of 4 bolts on the front? Please help me this is the last thing thats holding me back from running my car.

There is one bolt that is very hard to get to though thats in the back. I guess I should try to get a swivel to see if I can get it.

I geuss. I had to remove fan/shroud. This you need to look down the side you will see two bolts that go into the lower fan shroud on each side. Also had to remove the intake, and a couple other things. I honestly dont remeber tonight, its been like two years now. In the morning I'll look at whats left on my car and whats not anymore then give you more insight. Best bet would be to get the online factory service manual and have a look in it. It has a detailed write up.

Yah SOHC is a pita cause there is so much crap up front and the thermostat housing is like kinda burried in there.

Just take off your Intake pipe, then your shrouding, then the clutch fan and its about 100% easier no problems. Plus you want that extra room for when you put the housing back on with a gasket so it's a lot easier.

Now that I have My altima dual electric fans and they come with thier own shrouding and the clutch fan eliminated, there is so much room there it takes about 10 minutes for the whole process.

P.S I hope you drained your coolent before your do this other wise it can get really messy.
