Bought a 2008 M35 2 months back with 42K on it. So i just got a problem I dont know what is it. I had a tire which was losing air every single day. So i went ahead took it to the tire shop. Got it replaced with a new tire. Since then the car is making weird noise while going on 0-60 also making noise like the brakes are lose or something. Also i took it to my mechanic he said it might be the wheel bearing. The noise is coming from the side where I got the tire replaced which is the front driver side. I bought it from mecedes dealership I called him and he said oh we dont work on infiniti we work on mercedes and I did bought extended warranty for 3 years or 100k. Also today while i was driving the tpms light came on and I check the tire pressure it was showing ** for the front left where the noise is coming from.

Thanks in advance

Is it 35X or just 35?

If 35X:
I have heard that on many AWD cars, you can't just replace one tire at a time, you have to replace the set.
The reason being, if you replace just one tire the differences in tire height could damage the AWD system. I'm not sure if the M requires all tires to be changed at once, but I read that recently on Consumer Reports.

But yeah, take it to the dealership and make sure they spend time trying to see what you're talking about.

i have a 35X and i was told to replace all of the tires at the same time...

to the OP:

is the sound a humming sound? if so it sounds like a wheel bearing i had one go in my car and it was not cheap but the sound disappeared as soon as i got the bearing fixed...

Did you use the same type of tire as with the others? Are the other tires relatively new? Bad/failing bearing makes grinding sound, not humming. A bad bearing will not cause tire pressure loss. Check the wheel, may be cracked or warped.

Thats very true... i also saw there is a recall on the 08 TPMS sensor depending on where the car was initial purchased. Sounds like the rattling may be the TPMS sensor that is rolling around in the tire and wheel. Possible the tire shop didn't rebuild the TPMS sensor right

could be wheel bearing one way to check is to push against your wheel if you feel any play in the wheel its def the wheel bearing.
