If 35X:
I have heard that on many AWD cars, you can't just replace one tire at a time, you have to replace the set.
The reason being, if you replace just one tire the differences in tire height could damage the AWD system. I'm not sure if the M requires all tires to be changed at once, but I read that recently on Consumer Reports.
But yeah, take it to the dealership and make sure they spend time trying to see what you're talking about.
Oh, ok. Thanks. I was hoping someone might clarify that.rxmclaren7 wrote:bejjutsu wrote:Is it 35X or just 35?

i have a 35X and i was told to replace all of the tires at the same time...
Thats very true... i also saw there is a recall on the 08 TPMS sensor depending on where the car was initial purchased. Sounds like the rattling may be the TPMS sensor that is rolling around in the tire and wheel. Possible the tire shop didn't rebuild the TPMS sensor rightloystock wrote:Did you use the same type of tire as with the others? Are the other tires relatively new? Bad/failing bearing makes grinding sound, not humming. A bad bearing will not cause tire pressure loss. Check the wheel, may be cracked or warped.
