All i want for Xmas is a early present from anyone to sell me a idle air valve, i need it to get home for Xmas and mine is broken. i need it ASAP, ill pay next day air.

oh and why does one of my motors have a green sensor near the IAV and my other has a brown, the IAVs were slightly diferent too?

Hey Derek,

Just because the connector on the idle up solenoid is broken, doesn't mean it's malfuctioning. Glue it and keep on keepin' on. As for the difference in colors of the AAC solenoids, don't worry about that. Some model years had the brown ones and others had the green ones. The green ones were the latest versions of the solenoid, but they all function the same. So technically, you're worried about nothing, trust me on this one.

Dee, its cool i wasnt worried, i just was interested and wanna learn everything.Is the AIV needed if im not running AC or PS pressure switch to bump up idle when my wheel is full turn?

The Ca doesn't use a pressurized idle up system for the power steering unit. You don't have the use the broken valve if you're not using A/C.
