please help me on my 94 j30.

i have a 94 j 30 and the security light is on.then the check engine light came on.i check the codes and it came back maf circuit and fuel injector circuit.so come to find out the security light is causing the car to run like crap.its thinking somebody is trying to steal it and the computer is shutting down my maf and fuel injectors.is there anyway to fix this security light?bypass maybe?its also making my car not able to unlock my driver side door.please help

lock and unlock the car with the key .Either drivers side or front passenger.But if it was the alarm the car wont even try to start on would think.

ive already tried to lock and unlock it.i took it ti the shop and they said the security light is sending a message to the computer and the computer is shuting the car down by messing with the maf and the fuel injector circuits

Hmm .everytime my alarm was triggered the Horn woke up half the city !Lock and unlock disarmed it everytime too .

That is complete bull****. The shop does not know what they are doing.

Try this:

Unlock the trunk with the key, and keep it open.

Then go inside the car, lock the door manually then unlock it manually once.

After that put the key in the iginition 6 times within 10 seconds.

See if that might turn the light off.

ive tried.when you mean 10 times do you mean just stick it in the 6 times or stick in the 6 times and turn it to acc.thanks for all the help.i need to get this car fixed by tomorrow or my job wont be happy.thanks again everybody

Agreed on the BS.... no way that the security system would make the car run like poop.....

You probably have a bad MAF, but id check the connector first. SOmetimes injector codes are BS... Check the MAF and its connector, then go from there... The security light is likely caused by a misadjusted or bad door switch or hood switch.

ive already got a new maf just to be safe so thats done.it didnt change anything

THen its probably the connector... Do you have a FSM? if not, email me and ill set you up with one.. Also do you have a digital volt meter?

Within 10 seconds, stick the key in take it out, and repeat six times.

That resets your security computer.

ok just tried it this morning and nothing.there is no way to bypass this security?
