i was driving my 240 to my friends house, and i revved the engine and it just stopped. i wasent supposed to take it out cuz the water pump on it was bad and i was gonna get it replaced on Tuesday. My dads friend who has two 240s and i trust him cuz i know he knows alot. Well he told me that it might be the ECU or the relays. Because the SAFA is not even turning on when i put the key in.

By the was it a 96240sx SE with SR20 turbocharged.

can anyone help me, or tell me what i should do or where i can buy what i need.

thank you very much.

the best thing I can tell you is to get your hands on a FSM and start at the begining. you've got to figure out exactly what is going on.... ie, is the ecu even getting power? the FSM can help you troubleshoot as well as repair. once you've figured out what the issue is, then either the FSM will tell you what needs fixed, or you need to get back on here to get parts, or you need to go to a shop and let them fix it... good luck

Factory service manual, the internet! Just search for your year SR in google and you'll find a few.

Or you can buy one from people who DL the for free then burn a copy onto a cd. Infact, ill sell you one..

Check your relays first, it's cheap and easy and they are more likely to have a problem than the ECU IMHO.
