alright so i just rebuild my KA and got it back in and i got it running again but its acting weird. when you first start it up it will idle fine but after it runs for a little it starts to idle weird and it doesnt really want to take any trottle. i just replacedthe fuel pump and one of my injectors was bad so replaced it and ran injector cleaner through and sprayed carb cleaner in the intake while it was running and that didnt help any. so can someone please help me because im getting varry frustrated.

OBDI cars a too stupid diagnosticaly to shut your engine down when the MAF it unplugged. I had a Miata that ran like that, I unplugged the maf, and it ran a little better but not well. I put a new maf on and it ran perfect. You may have been sold a bad maf sorry to say.

try checking out you tps(throttle position sensor)...its located on the pass side of the throttle body intake. its a small black box about 3 inches square with one bolt on top and on bottom. 1st thing to do is "tap" it with the end of a ratchet, and obseve any change in idle. 2nd...loosen the bolts enough to turn the tps slightly(kinda like messin w/the distibutor).

dont mess with your tps unless you have a multimeter and plan on adjusting it correctly. try this for checking the maf zerothread/254283
