I tore apart my J30 6 months ago and I am putting it back together now and can't determine where a bracket goes. I included a pick of the bracket if anyone can recognize it and let me know where it bolts to I would appreciate it. Here is a picture of the bracket https://picasaweb.google.com/1037693352 ... /Downloads

We replaced head gaskets and also dropped the oil pan. In order to complete those repairs we had to unbolt the trans mounts.
It's been a while and it was in our neatly arranged j30 parts piles. All the pieces were laid out on cardboard sheets.

Oh no, not the parts link, the first link with the mystery bracket, I have seen many parts of a j30 most people have not, so I was eager to view and see if I could place it.
