Hey guys, I am in the market for some new wheels, and can't seem to find what I am looking for. I am looking for a simple 5 spoke design with a larger lip in the rear and a smaller lip in the front. I am looking for the sizes of 17x10 for the rear and 17x9 in the front, or something pretty close. I also need them available in a "flush" offset. I have been looking reading and still have come up empty. This is what I am looking for and yes I know that I will not achieve a lip that large, but they are the style that I want.

This is what I now rock.

Thanks for the help.

You want the same wheels that are on that Porsche? If so, those are Work Meisters. An offset of about +10 on both the 9 front and 10 rear would be nice and flush. But good luck finding some.

They don't have to be exactly like the ones on the porsche. I just like the simple clean style. Staggered setup 5-spoke with a larger lip in the rear than in the front.

Sportmax 962? Can get 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. 17's have 17x8 and 17x9. All offset of +35 I think.

Really don't want to get anything other than a 17. I also found the SSR sp1's. Man wheels are not cheap! I thought I had a decent budget at around $1,500 but maybe I was mistaken. Well, the search continues.

Try Zilvia

They always have good deals on QUALITY used wheels there. Most of them are in sizes for 240's too.

As far as styles go, if you like that 5 spoke thing, definately look into Work Meisters and SSR SP1. As far as brands go, the big names are Work, Volk, SSR, BBS, AME, Enkei, etc.....

$1500 will go a LONG way, especially now that times are rough.

Yeah, the only problem about buying new wheels is that I am very picky when it comes to what size and offset I want. So, buying used wheels is a little hit or miss. Thanks for the help, and I think I have come to the conclusion that I would sell a kidney if I could get some Work Meisters. Also, I am not sure what brand wheels are on my car right now because they were on it when I bought it and the only markings are on the back and all it says is the offset and either mywnywmawnawIt is hard to read, but it is one of those. Any ideas of what they could be? Thanks.

Ok, how about these: Enkei RP03. No lip to speak of, but still very sexy. They come in 17x10+18 too. Only 21 lbs

New ones might fit into your budget if you hunt around...

Those are nice, but look alot like what I currently have. Do you think that the letters on the back of my rims may be maw and it stand for magnesium alloy wheel?
