I have put deposit on a S14 sr20det that is swapped onto a usdm 95' zenki. The Zenki had a minor front end damage which the owner is selling the whole car along with the S14 SR he had swapped 3 years ago with all reciepts.

Here are the questions:

***I know the Zenki and Kouki harness and ecu are different, and this zenki had the wiring work done by a professional shop, so the current owner and I know nothing about it for how it was done and converted***

1. Being a Zenki that the SR20 harness had converted into the car, am I safe to swap the whole thing into my S14 Kouki? Can I use all the wiring including the ecu on my kouki? Will everything compatiable which plug and play (cluster, climate control, etc.)? (If that is the case, I will be filled with tears of joy)

2. The sr20 was swapped with a complete front end. However, the a/c system is missing in the zenki. What do I have to do about the wires in order to have my A/C work with the sr motor? (I searched and know that I have to buy a custom bracket)

***The car has been sitting in the garage for a year and turned on once a month. Assuming there might be possible rubber worn out.***

3. There is some funky build up on the area next to the turbo. There was a turbo gasket leak before but the gasket was replaced by the owner. What is the build up? (looks like the stuff come out from radiator) What you looking at is the heat shield covering the turbo.

4. The bottom of the transmission and engine oil pan are damped with one or two oil drips attaching. There were none from before claimed by the owner. Possible gasket worn out?

Some misc pics: notice there is the build-up thingy?

Video of how it runs and rev:http://s103.photobucket.com/al...0.flv

it runs and idle smooth and steady.

You sure that's build up? That looks suspiciously like the yellow make a gasket. That inlet could have cracked and somebody tried patching it up. But its hard to tell without taking it out.

I have very little experiance with SR20DET'sI've never seen that build up before either Oil on the top of the transmission normally means you either have a valve cover leak or wayyy worse, a head gasket leak. But the oil on the transmission could be PS, syn. oil, or the worst trans fluid....Just one more thing: The turbo feed line sometimes leak which can cause the oil pan to get drenched. If its the same as my RB25DET's you'll just need to replace the little copper washers on the banjo bolt.Just trying to help since nobody else did.

scratch that, right before I posted someone did help

Thanks Fibre guy, i really appreciate it.

I'm not sure that is a build-up and i'm not even sure what it is.I remember there was a tiny amount of smoke coming out from that "build-up". It was just like the smoke coming from a coolant leak/ coolant build-up.
