please help me! car wont stay running or hold charge

i have a 95 240 and i have to jump it and as soon as i take the jumper cables off it slowly stals out. replaced the battery and the alternator and still does it. if any one has any idea i would really appriciate it cause i have a 2500 mile trip in a couple of days.:help

if you havent already got it check the altenator conector make sure its fully seated in the altenator if its ok the new altenator is no good.

I have the same problem. My connector wont click in fully i can pull i tin an dout while the engine is running there is no change.
