ok, so i put a new fuel pump and screen in my '93 j30.

it fired up and ran ok.

but it idled at 400rpm or so and a bit rough? no loss of power or anything through the acceleration and was smooth on gas.would periodically stall at stop signs but fire right back up.

i drove it around my neighborhood a few weeks and one day after i got home, i went out 30 mins later to start it, and it just cranked and fired, trying to start and would read 150 rpm on tach, but die as soon as i let off the starter.

its been sitting a few months now, i put fresh gas and wont do anything at all now.

what i have checked-

Its not throwing any codes.only 55 which reads as no fault.
its getting spark, strong on every cylinder.
good compression.
new fuel filter on passenger inner fenderwell
fuel pump kicks on and primes when key is turned on
its getting gas.to the fuel rail, but after that IDK the plugs arent wet at all.dry as a bone

what does it sound like?

please help me and walk me down the steps on this bad boy.

check engine light is on, and so is the AT CHECK light when i crank it.

ok i got it to fire up and idle. I cleaned the MAF, new pcv valves, made sure all 6 cylinders had good compression and spark. all 6 injectors sound like there clicking.
no codes are being thrown.
it fires right up, but is isling at around 400 rpm and really rough. it has a miss at all times, but smooths out somehwat at a higher rpm.

ive checked for vacuum leaks, but could not find any. i do hear air sounds like sucking in air, but idk if thats the pcv noise or intake noises..

the car has pretty dam good power, and idles with the AC on at 450-500 rpm.

on one cylinder on the drivers side, which is the side that i assume is missing, i pulled the plug off of the injector and it had no effect on the engine, but when plugged back in the injector clicks. maybe dirty?
