I have an 2011 M56x, originally the car didn't come with the sport package brakes or rims, I put them on a few months ago.....here's the problem whenever I hit a bump on the front passenger side I hear something rattling, and sometimes when I'm parallel parking and I'm cutting the wheel feel like crunching kinda sound....anyone experience this any advice would be helpful....the dealer said they didn't see anything

This is just a wild stab at it...
Did you cut/snip/bend your brake shields?
In order to get the sport calipers in place in a non-sport M, the brake shields need to be modified.

No, you have to trim your existing brake dust shields (again, assuming your car was a non-sport version. It is not just a bolt on a go deal) in order for the OEM parts to work, otherwise the brake dust shield is in the way and you might have rubbing issues.

Has nothing to do whether you are using parts from the dealer or wherever, the larger caliper is too big for the existing dust shields on the non-sport versions.

Check out this webpage - http://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-susp ... 7-g-z.html
I realize it is for a G35, but the concept is the same.

Look midway down page and then you'll see the brake dust shield that he had to trim to get the bracket for the caliper on.

Sorry I can't give you any better pics or with an M - mine is a sport :gapteeth: , so it came with the big brake kit, and I never got around to doing the upgrade on my M45 otherwise I would have prolly taken pics of the process.
