HI all. I have a little problem with no brake lights but the 3rd light in the spoiler works as normal. Tail lamps, turn signals all work properly too. All bulbs and connections, fuses look well (Sylvania LL - 1 1/2 yr. old). After a search, it is leading me to the stop/taillight sensor but I don't know where it's located or what it looks like. Any direction would be of help as it's getting dark soon and I'd sure like to be as safe as possible. Thanks alot!

P.S. - Sorry for the double post but it's getting dark fast!

The control unit is inside the back panel of hte trunk on the driver's side of the latch, if I remember correctly.

Use a hammer? Not sure why one would want to disable the control unit.

LED lights will work, you just get a message on the dash... is the message what you want to eliminate? If so, understand that the sensor sends ground to the instrument cluster when the load is correct (e.g. all bulbs are working) - so you need to ground the output. Shouldn't be too hard with the FSM and a little snooping with a multi-meter.

Well they don't work thats the problem. The circuit is correct and should be working perfect but I get no light.
