Hi all out there i have a nissan cefiro 1989 with an RB20 det engine as of late this engine has given me a sh*@ load of trouble i was wondering if anyone on here could help.The engine has just blown the turbo and snapped the shaft in the turbo and is not spooling up anymore have since stopped running the car as am scared of hurting it more. It also has a missfire at 6000 revs and no matter what we did at a mates garage nothing seemed to help it has new plugs and coils too. I dunno what to do with it anymore.

I will be getting a new turbo am scared if i do engine may blow and f*@# up another turbo what are your guys suggeastions?

The RB20/25 turbos blow up after 14psi.

I would just get another RB25 turbo, bolts right up and rock that.Be easy on it and make sure everything else is good.

Maybe your Ignitor is bad or bad grounds???

Def change your Oil Asap.

Ok will try that and see what happens only thing i dont want it to do is it be a piston or sumthing and it spit a peice of metal into new turbo and blow that one up too.
