ok so i was driving put it into 1st and all of a sudden my clutch pedal hits the floor. so i go ahead and change the slave after i changed it i notice that the fork had no pressure pushing against it back toward the slave ( its hitting the back of the transmission). so i take the transmission off change clutch pressure plate bearing etc . go and put the transmission back in and still no pressure. now the bearing slides up and down the shaft with eaz but still no presure. its as if the bearing comes no were near the pressure plate. some one help me im going crazy with out a car and i cant figure it out. im not the graetest mech but im not stupid. and the problem is not the slave cylinder. everything is workin up untill the fork. oh and its not the fork cause i tried a new one and same results.

I just got done doing the exact same thing, make sure u check all the components like the TOB is it on correctly? is the release sleeve on correctly? Do you still have the clutch dampener?(long u shape line that runs to the slave)

YA I STILL HAVE THE DAMPENER AND THE BEARING IS PUT ON CORRECTLY. ANY OTHER IDEAS ID GRAETLY APPRICIATE IT. IVE TALKED MECH. AND THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING ITS THE SLAVE. OH ONE MORE THING MIGHT SOUND STUPID BUT WHATS THE RELEASE SLEEVE?

Ya the dampener can easily removed the outcome is a greater more straight forward clutch feel(stiffer) I was having the same issue no pressure would build up. I replaced everything but in reverse order. You have to make sure also that the forks retainer springs are all in the correct spots. as well as the boot which i recomned replacing since they are so cheap.the release sleeve is the peice that the tob sits on or gets pressed on to theres a small indentation in it where you put the lithium grease at to help the glide on the pilot shaft. Search "clutch release mechanism" there should be alot of info that i had help with when i was having the same issue.
