I just got a turbonetics turbo with a evolution waste gate ..I know its a t3 flange..but nothing else...and it has zero shaft play..This turbo has been sitting up for years..the tag says T-11652..I called turbonetics and got short talked.. I was told to look on the wbsite under tech support..This doesn't help because you have to messure all the parts, witch i can't do..I dont have the tools. if anyone can find out the specs on it. it will be very helpfull..Google didn't help.

every part should have a part number, and you can take it apart and get all the numbers then look it up on google or their web site.

but the info you gave us isnt really enough

make sure you know what your doing when you take it apart. make sure if you take the compressor wheel off, you get it in the same spot on the shaft. if you dont you should get it rebalanced.

Don't take anything apart. It doesn't really matter what the specs are, just install it and boost away. Does the exhaust housing have a number on it? Like .48, .63 .81 or something like that? If it's a T3 then it's a good match for the KA.

The only helpful thing the guy told me was..print out the actual size of a t2 and t3 flange gasket..so i did and the t3 matches perfect. So im sure its a t3.. I really needed specs so i can send my ecu to elthalpy to get a tune..Id like to no the hp range..id like to do atleast 15psi on this built engine that ive had for 4 years.. it only has 13,000 miles..lol

The exhaust does not have a A.R number. It only has the turbonetics T on it.

it probably stands for .63A/R

to post pics, you can load them to a free image hosting site (i use photobucket), you can search on google. and then when you load them, copy the [IMG] link and past it in here. it will then load the pic to the forum.

Looks like a standard T3/TO4 with a .63 Ar hotside, which is good btw. That turbo will work fine on the KA. Probably good for 400whp.

agreed. you might be able to squeeze a little more power out of it, but it looks like a nice turbo.

how much did you get it and the wastegate for?

a buddy of mine works at a tire shop..this kit was on an late 90's accord..the tranny was toast and the owner never cam back..ive seen this car sit there for 3 years.. ive always noticed the entercooler but thaught it was some riced out honda..so i went in one day. poped the hood an walla..the shop sent off for the car title.. i got the turbo and another employee got the rims..I PAYED $150 FOR BOTH...LOL. Hes a mustang guy so he had no idea..that waste gate new is around 290..Its an older unit, but it has zero and i mean zero shaft play..So what do yall think? I wanted the specs so i can send everything to enthalpy and get a tune..Ive been waiting 4 years for tis moment..Ive had the engine built that long but s*** kept happening...a drunk driver totaled my last s14.

Just tell him you have a T3/TO4E with a .63AR hotside and you aren't sure about the compressor trim. He'll be able to handle the rest.

I have a similar request. I got this turbo/manifold from an auction last week & I was hoping someone could help me identify them. Can't see any id #s and I don't wanna take it apart if I don't need to. Not certain its Nissan, but there were other Nissan parts in the container..

Thanks in advance...

^Well that's not a KA manifold, looking at the bolt pattern on the flange. Also confused about the manifold itself...doesn't look like it was finished. Turbo looks good though, the exhaust A/R should be stamped somewhere on the inside of the flange.

If you're really curious, take the compressor housing off and calculate the trim of the compressor wheel. Look on google on how to do that :)
