Can someone please identify this plastic part from my 2014 nissan pathfinder SL. It was hanging by the rear passenger side tire.

It's listed as a "Protector-Rear Suspension Link", p/n 551A6-3JA0A (RH side). Presumably there's a matching one on the LH side. Being a plastic $10 part, I'd say it probably has more function collecting gravel against the control arm, or falling off and becoming a road projectile, than it does protecting something steel that likely needs no protection. Given the winter picture, a small snow bank probably ripped it off. I'd say toss it.
