please help ID transmission

i did a search on decoding VINs and none of 4 posts had info on Transmission type ... auto or manual.thi sis the VIN 1N4AB42D1TC507133

please help me out.

you can contact your nissan dealer, see if they can run a vin check and pull up the stats on your car. that will tell if the car that transmission came from was an auto or manual.

if you have the transmission with you, it is very easy to tell the 2 apart.
