Ok so i recently took my gauge cluster aprt to change the faces, and of course in the process i had to remove the needles. well now that ive put it all back together the gauges are way off. at idle my speed says 15mph and my tach says 2200 rpm and once the car warms up my water temp goes all the way to hot and stays there. can anyone tell me how to fix this problem and recalibrate my gauges. i am talking about a 1990 240sx ka24e 5speed w/ no hud display. please help

Yes, Kevin at LS can help. - OR - Another thing to try is to get the JDM s13 cluster, don't even try to mess with the faces, and recalibrate the speedo using a different resistor on the back of the cluster, and adjust the pot in the cluster thru a small hold drilled in the case. It helps to do it on a chassis dyno, which has calibrated speed. What you wind up with is a cluster which will accurately read 0-180 MPH, and advance the odo in miles instead of km. Looks very slick, and will impress your friends. PM me for details. I have done about a dozen of these for myself, and other very happy s13 owners. Works only on SR20DET, or KA24DE engines - no single cams. Works great when swapping the '89-'90 single cam cars to SR20DET - gives you both a tach that works, and the 0-180MPH speedo. Also works when you have an SR transmission, but no KA speed sensor - it will also calibrate (different resistor) with the SR speed sensor.
