allright, i posted a few days ago about my wrecked 240. the whole right side is screwed the frame is bent and it's not pretty. i've decided to buy a little beater 240 and put my motor in it because i have a lack of funds. here's where i need your help; i've looked every where i can think of and i can find a cheap 40. my only requests are that it is a 5 spd, not a convertable and that it's between the years of 89 and 93. preferably running as well. so anyone who lives in central florida, well really anywhere in florida(i don't mind traveling) please keep a look out. i need a 40 soooooo bad. thank you, and don't dodge cats. were far too overpopulated w/ cats anyhow.

Didn't repo-man already say something about the "Cat thing"..

Try your Autotraders, they'll generally pop up with a 1000 dollar 89 or something like that..or a junkyard might prove to be useful.

Could ask around with tow-truckers, surprisingly enough, since they "get around", they know all the inside stuff.

Keep saving then. Demand is high...so price will only go up. The real problem is with the sellers though. Altering from factory equipment decreases value, in a normal car market. Those kids with their fistful of receipts from the local tuner chop shop.. waste of time to try & talk 'em down.

I looked, using 34652 as the ZIP code..I found 2 about 25 miles away from you. One for 1350 that was an auto (Yeah, I know, not what you wanted) -93 240 - which you could probably talk down...

and a '89 for 1295, that's a 5 Speed - 89 240 - which you most definetly get to 1100 or 1000.

Looking around on the Autotrader, you guys got it made in Florida, 54 Cars within 100 miles. I get like, 10 within 100 miles, out here in the sticks of VA.

I tried Cars.com, and I found a "1989 Nissan 240SX SE", for 1750,at a Dealer called "Classic Nissan" in Orlando, don't know if that's too far..or could be a auto..But, with a name like "Classic Nissan", they might be able to hook you up with one link: Another 89

I know it's too much, but, the dealer could help..Oh well, I'm done unless I happen to trapse along something.

I usually go to the local bottle shop, but can't you find them at gas stations in Florida? As for cheap I recommend either OE or Colt.

When u talk it down, just use the magic word "cash"Or if u have it right there on hand, it'll work wonders. It did for me.(although I think I just got lucky) ;)
