Please Help: Engine Shaking And Making Noise.

i have a 1993 nissan 240sx and the engine is shaking pretty bad and its making a loud ticking sound. anybody have any suggestions? please help me get this 240 back in it's drifting prime

check the maf and where it connects. IAVC also may need to be cleaned, or also check the injectors. Mine did this about a month ago and it was the injector rings, but acted up as when the maf is unplugged. The Injector ring (small one) was rotted and that little piece made my car run rich and terrible acceleration.

Fuel miss
Ignition miss
Rod knock / internal failure.

Make sure you got fuel and spark on all 4

mine does it when its cold. but doesnt tick

New motor mounts will fix some of the shake but if your missing on a cylinder then you got bigger problems. The tick is most lickly the timing chain or a lifter.
