Converted 1990 240sx to ka24de motor and am using 93 ecu, harness, distributer, can i go ahead and use the original ka24e MAF

No, you'll need a DOHC MAFS.

dude.. its the same maf... that maf gets used by TONS of cars too btw.. SRs, KAs, Ford Probe, Mazda MX6, Ford Ranger.

dude...it's not the same MAF...different voltage curve.

Yes, it will make the car start and run...but not well.

S13 KA24E (SOHC) MAF interchanges with S13 SR20 (redtop)

S13 KA24DE (DOHC) MAF is unique

S14 KA24DE (DOHC) MAF is unique (and plastic, not metal like the S13 MAF's).

...

So, use it on your DOHC if you like...but for future refernece...they are not the same or interchangeable.

Also, don't the KA24E MAFS have a seperate air temp sensor in the airbox, while the KA24DE MAFS have it built into the MAFS?

a kid here has a DOHC head on a SOHC motor with a SOHC maf

guess his ****s messed. .. i wont tell him. dont particularly like him anyways

the KA24E MAFwill also work with a CA18 swap. but Orion is right, it will not work with a DOHC KA.
