A modulator valve is for an automatic trans. I've found out that mine does not have one.

Valves and ModulatorsThrottle Valve or ModulatorTo shift properly, the automatic transmission has to know how hard the engine is working. There are two different ways that this is done. Some cars have a simple cable linkage connected to a throttle valve in the transmission. The further the gas pedal is pressed, the more pressure is put on the throttle valve. Other cars use a vacuum modulator to apply pressure to the throttle valve. The modulator senses the manifold pressure, which drops when the engine is under a greater load.

I can't say if the CA18ET has the exact part you need, but you can also look into the automatic KAs. If that doesn't work, I can go down to my friend's warehouse and see if he'll let me whore that particular part off a transmission.

Thanks for looking into that boost boy! As I stated before, I found that my transmission does not have one. Some CA18ET trannies do, some don't. Don't know the situation with that. My car was smoking at idle, and I was told a bad modulator valve could be the cause. Got my car on a lift, and found out I don't have one. My smoke problem came from oil getting into the turbo intake. I'll solve this problem w/ a catch can. Once more, thanks for the inquiry!
