Well im super stumped and a weekend activity of swapping an sr into my 93, has turned into a 2 month project. After a long list of replacing broken parts my sr came with, now I cant get it to start. Im getting fuel but no spark it just cranks and cranks, so I started at the ignitor chip and its wiring, its all good to go. Next I tested the coil packs, all reading around 1.34 ohms. Then I switched ecu's with a friend and nothing changed. I went back through the wiring about 4 times and I used Frsports and Heavythrottle's diagrams, still nothing. Checked all the grounds again and again, and im still stuck. But what I found strange was that the Main Ignition wire (Black/Red) was getting +12volts when the car was off but when I turned the car on it droped down to .85 volts. It could be me but somthing tells me that somthing is wrong there... I tore that part of the harness apart to see if maybe the wire was grounding out on somthing or if maybe a wire was backwards, it all looked ok so I bypassed a new wire in its place but still the same sh*t. I apologize for the long post but im really getting sick of having so many things not work or go wrong on my car. At this point Im open to all suggestions. Lol anybody got any advice or answers????
