first things first, I have tried the search function but I am turning up few results

you guy's have got to help me out a little bit here please! I am completely lost on this car. as you can probably tell by my username my background is honda's but please don't hate me for that. I am trying to change my ways but I think I am way over my head here. The car is a 1989 240sx I picked up from a kid that tried to do a swap and made a mess of it, now I am going to try to finish it.

as near as I can tell this thing is a total mutt, with alot of mixed up parts...

1989 240sxlooks like an early grey top sr20de (no turbo)has a turbo wiring harness with a cam sensor and coil packsused power FC ECU with controller

I've converted the car from an auto to a manual already, swapped the distributor for the cam sensor and now I am trying to get this thing to run, but right now I can only get spark at one coil pack. Is this a lost cause?

I dunno if it is the Power FC that is screwing me here, or if I am using the wrong harness and need to go back to the non-turbo harness...PLEASE if someone can post me some links to do some research it would really help alot...I need some wiring diagrams and some info on the Power FC since the only thing on Apexi's website is for a friggin civic (go figure)

thanks again guy's and sorry for the long post

Well if you could try these guys http://www.wiringspecialties.c....html I've heard good things. Also I would try to get ahold of a Factory Ecu, to make sure the power FC is not your problem.Good luck

a picture can be worth a thousand words.

i agree that you need a factory ecu. try to get the thing back to stock as much as possible.

What I want to know is why they had a distributor but retained coil packs. That shouldn't even be possible.
