Check out the SRS self diagnostic "without Consult" procedure starting on page BF-62 of the factory service manual - available at www.infinitiservicemanual.com
You should be able to get a code that helps narrow down the fault.

Do you hear any noises when you try the window, or is it just dead? Crunching noises usually indicate a bad power window regulator (track that feeds the window from the p/w motor). This usually happens with a failure in the down position while you're out somewhere with a rain storm approaching.

Totally dead, and it's likely something is either disconnected, or possibly a LAN fault. Your '94 has a LAN system that handles a lot of functions... I believe it was the first year of LAN. Anyhow, there is a diagnostic procedure for LAN functions. Check out EL-85 +/- about 10 pages for that process.

I don't know how easy removing the door panel for your car is, but a sure-fire way of testing the motor is disconnecting the plug that feeds it from the door harness and giving it power.

2 or 3 wires, but you just give them 12 volts from the battery then switch the wires and you should hear something or see something move if the motor isn't dead.

My guess is it's the LAN module in the back door. Sometimes when those fail the lock will still work but not the window.. I had the opposite failure, where the lock didn't work but the window did.

You don't see rear window regulators fail quite as often just because the windows aren't used as much.

FWIW I don't think ive been able to get the self-diagnosis to positively identify a bad LAN control module in the door.. Every time I've just replaced it and it's been good.

Also I believe they are door specific, IIRC one time I tried to swap them left to right, and when trying to put down the left window the right one actually went down.
