Please help, 2005 QX56 dash cluster lighting flickering or sometimes on or off

Hi every one, I just purchased an 05 QX56 so I just joined this forum, of very nice folks i'm sure, and I look forward to participating and meeting you all.

So yes I just purchased an 05 QX56 and of course a couple of days later seller non mentioned problems show up.

First issue, the gauges cluster was working fine then all of a sudden the cluster lights flickered then went out, then after checking wiring is connected properly, a slight tap on the dash over the cluster, the lights came back on but flickering to stable then not stable, then I shut off the car, come back later start the car and the lighting comes on fine and stable.
At first I thought the dimmer may be the issue but all the other dash lights work fine, only the gauges cluster lighting intermittently goes out or flickers.

The second issue is something I noticed at the cluster, the "Supplemental air bag warning light" doesn't turn off or stop flashing at all, as the owner manual says it should after 7 seconds, it just flashes all the time.

The 3rd issue is an occasional table spoons worth of red oil, I suppose transmission oil, showing up under the vehicle right under the small lower pan which is located on drivers side between the radiator and motor. The small oil drops are dripping through one or two of the small hole of that pan. I tried rinsing thoroughly with a hose in case its old spillage but dripping came back and I can smell it on occasion.

Hoping someone can help please.

1. the cluster may need to be replaced. its a one piece unit.
2. air bag sensor(s) is faulty. hook up a diagnostic code reader (go to autozone, etc if you dont have one yourself) and read any trouble codes at the OBD port
3. transmission cooler is up front. could be leaking there.
