I have planned for months on getting my bottom end rebuilt by jgy, and now that im just about ready to drop it off i have been hearing really bad things about them.

I was told by many people a few months ago that they were great to deal with and reallly knew what they were doing. But as of late i have heard everything from blown motors upon taking just a test drive after the sr20 was installed, messes up wiring, long, long waits to get your car back, like 5 months, and that thier customer service is total crap.

I really need to make sure my motor and car is going to be in good hands. I have dumped so much money into this car and i really dont feel like dealing with any shop that does sh_ty work just so i have to spend even more money later. I would just do the damn bottom end rebuild myself but its not possible . I live in appartment where they dont alow you to work on your car.

Please reply if you have delt with them in the past. I need more info on them. good or bad. .

Thanks for your time,DJ

Yes the wait time is true. They had one motor of mine over 5 months. Sigh I don't like bashing, but they are not worth it. Don't give them any business. They were jerks from the start. I would call every month for an update and they would get pissy with me like '' Why are you calling''. I don't get why they are still in business but the word needs to get out that they are d***s . Tell you the truth I don't even know if my engine will work, I have yet to install it and crank it up. I even thought about taking it to another mechanic to check it before I start it and blow it to h***.

I've bought a couple of parts from them and communication is just awful. They don't write more than one line(5-6 words?) and I'm not joking. Oh, you have to wait at least 2-3 days for that one line reply. Not so professional IMO.
