Beverly Hills Superior Court judge Marsha Revel rejected motions on Friday from the lawyers of John Threlkeld, 57, and Leonard Turner, 64, to dismiss the decades-old cold case.
Threlkeld, who sports a thick grey beard, and Turner are expected to face trial in LA later this year for the bloody West Hollywood home invasion murder of the beautiful Ms Galea, wife of Sydney racing identity Bruce Galea.
US authorities allege as a .410 shotgun was shoved in Ms Galea's mouth, she begged "Please don't kill me", but the trigger was pulled.
The throats of five other people in Ms Galea's rented West Hollywood apartment were slashed, with one female victim jumping out of a second storey window after being stabbed by the attackers.
WTF are you talking about??
