Sup guys, ive got a real easy question that needs to be answered. I just want to know if every body chooses SPL's KTS Coilovers over everything else that is mentioned on here because there a sponsor on here and you want to keep them happy or are they really that much better. Now hopefully no one gets offended by the question cuz ive seen some guys on here react stupid to certain questions when there really is no need to but again..... are they that good???? I had the money a couple of months ago to get coilovers but i decided to be a dumb a$$ and be responsible and get some bills paid off so im still saving up again for some. Now i was also going to get the Kts's because every one recomends them for this reason and that reason and i also trust your guys judgment on them but ive been thinking about getting D2's also because a friend of mine has them on his S14 and to me there great. By saying that, people will probably say that D2's suck compared to kts's. Now ive also read on other posts where another coilover is mentioned and then that person gets bashed. I know it all depends on what your planning to do with the car but i just wanted to know if there that good or are people just saying they are because there a sponsor. Anyhow hope you guys can answer my question. thanks guys.

PS: What do you guys think of Tein Flex??? Also while im posting on here now, which coil overs do you guys recommend for street use, Auto X, Canyon Racing (Touge) occasional drifting. Thanks again.

its my understanding that they really are that good. i am getting them withing the week. kts has the best rebuild policy ie you pay them 550 and get completely new shocks.

being a performance minded person i refuse to buy something just because its from the sponsors. but if there is a high quality product offered by one of the sponsors whom has an unequaled reputation for quality suspension products i dont see where you can go wrong.

i've will have spent close to 3 grand on suspension components from spl by the end of the month and have not have any problems thus far. i am in iraq though and have not installed any of these yet

If you want D2's then go for it. Everyone has their own thang.

Being a sponsor merely brings in more traffic for the business. It's the business's job to keep those people comming back. Normal thread posting people vouch for the products and the company not b/c they're sponsors.

all sponsorships aside spl rocks. I've never read a bad review about any of the items they sell and I've always enjoyed the level of service that I've received from them.

A point in fact is boostdesigns (an old KA-T sponsor). You start selling a bad product and people turn on you. Notice they don't sponsor anymore? -- let alone exist.
