Hey peeps, Hope someone out there can figure out what is going on with my sr20det swap in a 1990 240sx hatch. Was working fine at one point, just got engine in and when I went to get gas a few moments later on the freeway the engine started running strange? At one point my car couldn't go past 50 mph in 5th. The car also doesn't run nicely. When I turn on the car it doesn't idle, it kind of bogs and dies out. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I was thinking maybe a vacuum hose fell off, but doesn't seem to be any hoses hanging around? Would I need to adjust my timing or something? The strangest thing is it was working just fine and then it just got weird? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

have you checked the vaccuum line from the intake to the brake booster. there is a tricky one there.. you have to look under the intake on the back side.

Hi, tried looking at that vacuum, not the problem, but thank you for your advice. I'm thinking maybe it's electrical? dunno anyone out there have any clues? Car backfires after start up as well.
